Injectables

Tired of seeing wrinkles and deep lines in your face? Injectable treatments at Epic Med Spa in Salem NH  can help you look and feel more youthful.

What are Injectables?

Injectables are non-surgical cosmetic enhancement treatments most commonly known for their anti-aging properties. Most commonly, these types of procedures are used to help reduce or correct fine lines, wrinkles, folds, thinning lips, sagging skin, and lost volume throughout the face. We work closely with each patient to understand what their beauty goals are and what is the best way to achieve them. To help deliver a personalized experience to every patient, we carry a wide variety of injectable products that can help treat a range of cosmetic concerns such as neurotoxin which is known as Botox, dermal filler, Kybella and mesotherapy.

Who Can Receive Injectables?

Ideal candidates for medical aesthetic treatments like injectables include men and women over the age of 21 who wish to reduce, prevent, or deter the appearance of wrinkles, fine lines, or similar blemishes in their face or skin. We offer three main categories, including non-invasive facelift treatments, dermal fillers, and neurotoxin injectables. Each procedure offers incredible results that are carefully tailored to meet your unique goals. Just about anyone can receive dermal injections, as long as they are in good general health!

Before, After, and During the Procedure

Before receiving treatments like Botox or dermal fillers, it is always recommended avoiding NSAIDS like aspirin or ibuprofen for at least a week leading up to your appointment. Also, loading up on leafy greens to increase your intake of Vitamin K can reduce bruising in the skin. The procedure itself usually takes no more than one hour, depending on how many units or the type of service you are receiving.

Injectables are usually administered with a micro-needle, which injects the solution directly into the skin in strategically marked spots around the target area. Other non-surgical injectable treatments may use a tool called a cannula, which is similar to a thin needle.

Most patients can return to their regular activities immediately after leaving our office. Although some procedures may have instant results, others can take up to a week to fully reveal. During a consultation at our facility, one of our expert team will gladly review everything you need to know before receiving treatment.
